We enjoyed our stay here, On most of trips we try to stay in at least one privately owned Motel. The chains are predictable. This was a pleasant stay for a night, It was quiet and clean. the room was what I asked for and the reservation was very simple to make. Trust is a huge commodity and I would trust this motel again anytime. Sorry we didn't see more of you Ed. I enjoyed doing business with you. Steve Fowler
If I could sum up my review in one word, it would be "CLEAN". We have stayed here in the past under the previous owners and Ed has continued the same cleanliness of the establishment. These days, there is a lot to be said for a privately run business that makes you feel like you're family. It was also quiet and close to Letchworth Park. Highly recommend, will stay here again.
Very nice place with clean rooms and nice grounds. We also stayed in the house which is beautiful!! It is a spacious, well decorated and furnished treat! Excellent location by Letchworth (a few minute drive) and not far from Stony Brook.
My husband and I stayed for 2 nights while visiting Letchworth State Park. Charming, spacious room that was clean and well kept. Very comfortable matress, large fluffy towels, hot shower, and included mini fridge, bottled water, Keurig coffee maker, and paper towels.
We stayed here this weekend for 2 notes. We had a King size bed that was very comfortable. Room was very clean and large. New owner, said he purchased the motel in May. He was very easy to deal with, check in was quick, and he was very friendly. We would defenitely stay here again
It's a step back in time Motel and we loved it. Clean rooms, comfy beds, well stocked bathroom items. Would definitely stay here again when we are in the area. Owner was pleasant and check in over the phone was a breeze! Thank you Colonial Inn!
Super charming room. The grounds could use some maintenance. I presume this place is a small business, run by a couple. Be prepared to communicate by text, and if you arrive when the owner is not there, like we did after 5 o'clock, be prepared to give him credit card info over the phone. I'm glad I had cell phone service in an area that has spotty coverage. I should give 3 stars for the grounds and lack of staff upon arrival (he left our door unlocked and key on table), but the room was very comfortable and clean, and I grant compassion on a rural couple doing the best they can.
My wife and I stayed 2 nights here, and the rooms were super clean, the beds very comfy, and the showers extra spacious! The view was beautiful and the rates reasonable -- definitely a 10/10 experience at a bargain rate. Just needs a bed & breakfast and it'll be perfect.
